OneChicago, LLC (“OCX”) reported that 296,470 security futures contracts traded at the Exchange in February 2010, an increase of 139% from January 2009. Year to date volume was 661,612.
Open interest stood at 854,853 contracts at the end of February 2010, a 474% increase over February 2009.
The top five February volume OneChicago contracts are:- Pfizer, Inc.
- Intel Corporation
- Merck & Co, Inc
- Bristol-Myers Squibb Company Co
- Halliburton Company
- OneChicago added 78 new listings during February 2010. OneChicago now lists 1,896 issues including 232 ETFs.
