• On 31 July 2014, market capitalisation reached a record high of $25,500.4 billion.
• The average daily turnover for the first seven months of 2014 was $63,220 million, a decrease of 4 per cent when compared with $65,691 million for the same period last year.
• There were 76* newly listed companies for the first seven months of 2014, an increase of 130 per cent when compared with the 33* for the same period last year.
• Funds raised through IPOs for the first seven months of 2014 was $105,972 million, an increase of 137 per cent when compared with $44,749 million for the same period last year.
