Herbert Robijn Appointed Managing Director For GL TRADE’s Dutch Office

GL TRADE has appointed Herbert Robijn (40) as Managing Director of its Amsterdam Office. Robijn is the founder of IRIS, a company specialized in software for options trading and market making which GL TRADE acquired in 2004.

His new role is to develop GL TRADE’s cross asset business in front to back office product lines in the Netherlands and to oversee the global development of GL RUBYX, the automated & smart option trading system. He will be in charge of managing the office’s 25 staff split between Customers Sales/Support and GL RUBYX development.
