Five Petition Candidates Added To CBOT Election Ballot

Five candidates have been added by petition to the ballot for the March 28, 2002 Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) annual election. The annual election ballot will include these five candidates and the nominees previously announced by the CBOT® Nominating Committee as follows:

Candidates for CBOT® 2002 Board of Directors
Vice Chairman Full Member -nominee to serve for a two-year term:Charles P. Carey (nominee)

Full Member Directors- nominees and candidates for three-year terms (three to be elected, including at least one non-resident):
John E. Callahan (candidate)
Jacob J. Morowitz (nominee)
C. C. Odom, II, (non-resident) (candidate),br>Gary V. Sagui (nominee)
A. Alan Zatopa (non-resident) (nominee)

Full Member non-resident Director - nominee for a two-year term:Associate Member Director - nominee and candidate for a three-year term (one to be elected):
Howard R. Feiler (nominee)

Based on the current CBOT® charter and bylaws, the exchange's 2002 Board of Directors, which will become effective immediately following the election on March 28th, will include the Chairman, Vice Chairman, President and 15 Directors. Board members whose terms are expiring are Charles P. Carey, James E. Cashman, James F. Curley, Douglas M. Kurzydlo, Joseph Niciforo, J. Andrew Wallace, and Ralph H. Weems. The current Nominating Committee is comprised of John L. Pietrzak, Jack R. Frymire, Jay Homan, Bruce A. Williams, and Charles M. Wolin.
