Starting Friday a new ETF will be tradable in the XTF-segment on Xetra at Deutsche Börse which allows investors to gain exposure to 30 companies with the highest dividend payouts in Europe. The Lyxor ETF DJ STOXX Select Dividend 30 (ISIN FR0010378604) is based on the DJ STOXX 600 Index which comprises the largest companies from 18 European countries. The 30 shares with the highest dividend payouts are selected from a total of 600 stocks contained in the index. Single shares in the index are weighted with a maximum of 15 percent.
The ETF launched by Lyxor Asset management on the Dow Jones STOXX Select Dividend 30 distributes the dividends on a yearly basis. The annual management fee is 0.30 percent.
In 2006, turnover in the XTF segment was up 45 percent year-on-year to total 66.7 billion EUR, while assets under management rose by 77 percent to reach a record high of EUR 47.6 billion EUR. A total of 183 index funds are currently listed in the XTF segment. This product offering, together with an average monthly trading volume of over 5 billion EUR, makes Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment Europe’s leading trading platform for ETFs.
