Datacom Systems Inc. announces the appointment of Andy Mather as VP International Sales to be based in London, United Kingdom.
Kevin Formby, CEO of Datacom Systems, says "Datacom Systems already does a significant amount of business outside of its home territory of the USA. We have an established network of channel partners who resell our taps and sophisticated matrix switches, but we need to have local presence on the ground in Europe if we are to fully exploit the potential of such partners. We are therefore pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Mather as VP International Sales to be based in London. Andy's role will be to work with channel partners to increase our sales presence in international markets generally, but with a focus on Europe. Andy's sales management expertise plus his knowledge of financial technology and service provider market provides a great foundation for us to leverage. We are all looking forward to Andy leading our 'charge' in these markets."
Andy Mather comes to Datacom from Sumerian where he had a senior sales management role. Prior Sumerian he had 10 years of sales management roles in Radianz and BT Radianz selling technology solutions to financial institutions.
Andy says "Having met the Datacom team in the US, I've been impressed by both the dynamism of the company and the technology that the company has to offer in the area of monitoring high performance and mission critical infrastructure. This is a fast moving and high growth market and I am looking forward to helping Datacom and its channel partners seize the opportunities ahead of it."
