The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) today announced that the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) has awarded the CFTC a “Vision Award” rating of platinum for its FY 2009 Performance and Accountability Report in the “Government – City/State/National” category.
The LACP “Vision Awards” are widely recognized as authoritative in assessing the quality of financial reporting. In total, the LACP reviewed more than 4,000 entries from more than 25 countries for its Vision Awards competition.
“The CFTC is committed to transparent and reliable accountability reporting,” CFTC Chairman Gary Gensler said. “Receiving this prestigious award is an honor that recognizes the dedication and hard work of the CFTC’s staff in producing this report.”
The LACP awards committee, comprised of international communications experts, also awarded the CFTC’s Annual Report a “Gold Award” in the “Best Annual Report Narrative” category.
