CBOT Trading Schedule for the Veterans Day Holiday

The Chicago Board of Trade has established the following trading schedule in connection with the Veterans Day holiday:

Friday, November 8:

  • Open auction: Financial* contracts close at 12:00 noon. All other open auction contracts (Agricultural and Stock Index) close at their normal times.
  • Electronic a/c/eSM trading: Financial and Metals contracts close at 12:30 p.m. All other a/c/e trading closes at normal times.
Sunday, November 10:
  • Overnight a/c/e trading closed for Financial contracts only. All other overnight a/c/e trading (Agricultural, Stock Index and Metals contracts) has a normal schedule.
Monday, November 11:
  • Open auction Financial contracts closed. Daytime a/c/e Financial contract trading closed. All other contracts (Agricultural, Stock Index, Dow-AIG Index and Metals) have normal daytime open auction and/or a/c/e trading schedules.
  • Electronic a/c/e trading reopens at normal evening times.
*Financial contracts are Treasury Bond, Treasury Note, Municipal Bond/Note Index, Interest Rate Swap and Agency Note futures and options, and 30-Day Fed Fund and Eurodollar futures.

Note: The MidAmerica Commodity Exchange will not be affected by the Veterans Day holiday.
