Exercise Of Ibovespa Options Generates BRL 4.25 Billion On BM&FBOVESPA

The exercise of options on the Ibovespa Index (Ibovespa) generated BRL 4.25 billion on Wednesday (June 15), with 64,650 contracts traded. Of the financial volume in exercised contracts, BRL 4.24 billion was in put options and BRL 12 million in call options.

BM&FBOVESPA begins the process of changing the Market Arbitration Chamber (CAM) rulebook this week. The proposed revision has already been put before all of the companies listed on the Novo Mercado and Level 2, which are differentiated corporate governance levels that require, among other things, conflict resolution via CAM.

Federal Reserve Proposes Rules Under Regulation B To Clarify Data Collection Compliance Requirements For Motor Vehicle Dealers

The Federal Reserve Board on Monday issued a proposed rule under Regulation B to clarify that motor vehicle dealers temporarily are not required to comply with certain data collection requirements in the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank Act) until the Board issues final regulations to implement the statutory requirements. The Board believes that implementing rules are needed to ensure data are collected and reported in a consistent and standardized way.

TMX Group Dark Order Types Reach Volume Milestone - Volume Reaches 3.3 Million Shares In The First Week Of Trading All Equity Issues

TMX Group Inc. today announced that its dark order types have reached a volume milestone within the first week of enabling the full list of Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and TSX Venture (TSXV) listed securities. The dark order types, which include the Dark Mid-Point and the Dark Limit order types, achieved a daily peak trading volume of over 3.3 million shares and averaged over 2 million shares traded per day. 24 participating organizations (POs) are posting dark orders and have executed against orders from over 85 POs that are currently receiving price improvement and reduced execution costs by trading with TSX and TSXV dark liquidity.

NYSE Liffe U.S. Completes Successful Migration Of MSCI Index-Based Futures From CME - Becomes Only U.S. Exchange Currently Trading Futures On MSCI International Benchmark Indices

NYSE Liffe U.S., the U.S. futures exchange of NYSE Euronext (NYX), today announced that it has successfully migrated futures contracts based on the international flagship MSCI Emerging Markets and MSCI EAFE indices from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Upon completion of the June-September roll on Friday, June 17, over 69,700 lots of open interest had been established in the NYSE Liffe U.S. listed contracts, representing approximately 98% of the average open interest on the CME during the month of May, prior to the roll.
