Date 12/11/2001

The President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand, Mr. Kittiratt Na-Ranong, has just disclosed that from the time the SET approved Internet (Thailand) PLC (INET) as a listed company in October 2001, the company completed the distribution of 110 million shares to the general public at 3.50 baht per share. This reflects a great deal of interest from investors. The company's registered capital increased to 250 million baht, which consists of 250 million common shares with a par value of 1 baht per share. The company has 4,164 retail shareholders representing 50.12% of its total shares. INET shares will begin trading on 14 November 2001, in the communications sector, under the abbreviation 'INET'.

"Internet Thailand is the first State-Own Enterprise to complete the privatization process under the Capital Market Development Plan, and to do so quickly and successfully. Share subscriptions were available through the Internet - the first time a Thai company has used this sophisticated method to distribute shares. November 14th, 2001 will be the first date on which the 250 million shares can be traded on the SET. Its success should help generate more interest from investors in the capital markets." the SET president said.

Internet Thailand PLC acts as a commercial Internet Service Provider (ISP) for both corporations and individuals, and includes e-Business Infrastructure services. The company also provides other services such as an Internet Data Center and related e-commerce services. The company's dividend policy is no less than 30% of its annual net profit.
