The Luxembourg Stock Exchange Has A New Corporate Identity

The Luxembourg Stock Exchange changed its corporate identity on 17 May 2011.

Reflecting the development of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange in recent years, the new corporate identity represents its policy of diversification and core values. These are based on four pillars: solidity, regulation, technology and transpar­ency.

The new logo of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange combines all these features as a brand. Its hexagonal shape symbol­izes the strength of a major player at the heart of the financial centre. This hexagon is divided into two parts, the space between the two parts suggesting the upward curve of an index. The logo is coloured in gray and red, which evoke technology and modernity with a touch of warmth and softness.

The new visual identity was also an opportunity to give fresh impetus to the website of the Luxembourg Stock Ex­change, which was reviewed in 2002 to ensure the wide dissemination of financial information and documentation concerning listed securities. The latest redesign of the site with the new corporate identity was focussed on the new look and will be followed by a full recast, by the end of 2011, of all aspects concerning structure and content of the site.

The new identity, which will now appear on all communication support of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, does not imply any changes to the Exchange’s postal, internet or email addresses. Likewise, all administrative and tax information of the company remain unchanged.
