Sallstrom Joins Minneapolis Grain Exchange Board Of Directors

Directors of the Minneapolis Grain Exchange elected Kevin Sallstrom to a vacant seat on the board. Sallstrom fills the post left vacant by Kent Horsager, who was recently appointed president and chief executive officer of the Exchange.

Sallstrom represents the At Large interest group. He is a local trader and has been a member of the MGE since 1983. Horsager said, "I welcome Kevin Sallstrom to the board of directors. Kevin's experience, as a member and trader will serve the MGE well as we face future challenges."

The Minneapolis Grain Exchange, established in 1881, is the only futures market for hard red spring wheat, white wheat, durum wheat, cottonseed, black tiger shrimp, white shrimp and on- and off-peak Twin Cities electricity futures and options.
