Russian Trading System Bonds: Weekly Data

For the week of October 28th-November 1st, 2002, the total volume on the RTS Bonds, the system facilitating trading of corporate, government, municipal debt, and Eurobonds, increased 4. 4 times and reached 2 445 thousand US dollars. The number of trades went up from 7 to 12.

Eurobond weekly trading volume reached 1 490 thousand US dollars; Eurobonds traded twice on the week.

The RTS Bonds trading system opened up on June 3, 2002. Currently 162 members of the Partnership, including 14 market makers, trade fixed-income securities on the RTS Stock Exchange. Daily RTS Bonds market information is available on the RTS server on the Internet.
