U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission And Alberta Securities Commission Sign Memorandum Of Understanding To Enhance Supervision Of Cross-Border Clearing Organizations
Leaders of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which took effect on June 10, 2010, to enhance cooperation and the exchange of information relating to the supervision of cross-border clearing organizations.

Mansion House Speech By Governor Of The Bank Of England, Mervyn King
The Governor of the Bank of England, Mervyn King, today welcomes the new responsibilities given to the Bank for micro prudential and macro prudential regulation. Speaking at the annual Mansion House Dinner, the Governor says: “I welcome those new responsibilities. Monetary stability and financial stability are two sides of the same coin. During the crisis the former was threatened by the failure to secure the latter.”

BM&FBOVESPA: Change In The GTS Pre-Opening Period And Introduction Of The Pre-Opening Session For All Mini Contracts
In order to unify the operational trading procedures for the GTS electronic trading system, BM&FBOVESPA will change the daily pre-opening period for all Exchange contracts on July 1, 2010, which from that date forward will take place daily from 8:55 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The Exchange will also introduce a pre-opening session for all of its mini contracts.

The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ), the world's largest exchange company, announced that CBOE Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq:CBOE), parent of the Chicago Board Options Exchange, the largest U.S. options exchange and creator of listed options, began trading on Tuesday, June 15 on The NASDAQ Stock Market (NASDAQ).
