The term of office of the current Supervisory Board expired upon the end of the general meeting of European Energy Exchange AG (EEX), which took place in Leipzig on 9 June. The shareholders of EEX approved the activities of the Management Board and of the Supervisory Board and elected a new Supervisory Board as scheduled.

In the subsequent constituent meeting of the new Supervisory Board, Dr. Jürgen Kroneberg was re-elected as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Prof. Harald R. Pfab, Peter Reitz and State Secretary Roland Werner were elected as deputy chairmen of the Supervisory Board.
Dr. Kroneberg thanked the members who have left the Supervisory Board - Andreas Fohrmann, Marcel Hayoz, Dr. Hans-Joachim Klein, Dr. Christoph Helle and Hans-Joachim Strüder - for their cooperation, which was excellent at all times, and their commitment in the establishment and development of EEX in the preceding years.
