Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) would like to announce that the High Court of Kuala Lumpur had on 18 September 2009 ordered Azimuddin bin Abd Ghani and Mohd Nor bin Abdul Raman, the directors of both Datuk Keramat Holdings Berhad and George Town Holdings Berhad to pay the fines imposed by Bursa Securities for breaches of the Listing Requirements. In addition, the directors were also ordered to pay the legal costs incurred.
Azimuddin bin Abd Ghani and Mohd Nor bin Abdul Raman have failed to pay the total fines of RM388,750 and RM215,500 imposed on them respectively for breaches of the Listing Requirements and Bursa Securities had commenced legal action against them for recovery of the fines.
The details of the enforcement actions taken against the directors are contained in the public reprimands issued by Bursa Securities on 24 November 2006, 28 February 2007, 4 April 2007 and 6 July 2007.

Bursa Securities would like to emphasise that in its effort to maintain a fair and orderly market, it is committed to carry out strict enforcement in the case of contravention of the Listing Requirements and will initiate the necessary legal action to give effect to its enforcement decisions and actions accordingly.
