Colt Technology Services has announced that it will be providing dedicated network connectivity to the cloud for NEC Networks & System Integration Corporation’s Internet of Things (IoT) Platform Service, which leverages Microsoft Azure. The connectivity will be powered by Colt’s Cloud Connectivity Service, a service that is focused on stability and security.
The IoT Platform Service from NEC Networks & System Integration Corporation (NESIC) boasts a variety of features that leverage Microsoft Azure, including data collection, visualisation, and even machine learning for data analysis. NESIC’s Wireless Direct Access for Azure option also provides a guaranteed, secure and reliable link that bypasses the internet by establishing a grounded connection to Microsoft Azure via Colt’s low-latency, private network.
Colt began expanding support for the IoT market in 2016, bringing significant technical knowledge and expertise cultivated from providing network infrastructure to the financial sector and applying it to the IoT market.
