Influential figures from the financial markets and a leading securities regulatory body have been added to the heavyweight line up of speakers at The Channel Islands Stock Exchange (CISX) International Business Summit in September.
IOSCO (the International Organisation of Securities Commissions) to which the Exchange is an Affiliated Member, will be represented at the prestigious summit by Tajinder Singh, its Deputy Secretary General. Mr Singh, who previously occupied a top role at the Securities and Exchange Board of India, will provide useful insights into regulatory reform post the financial crisis.
Leading investment figures within the financial markets are confirmed speakers at the International Summit including Jon Moulton, chairman of Better Capital LLP, Paul Wharton, Chief Investment Strategist, Deutsche Bank Wealth Management, UK and Helena Morrissey, Chief Executive Officer, Newton Investment Management and Dr James Chu, who heads up City of London based Blue Sky Asset Management.
They join a substantial and rarely assembled group of expert commentators including City economist and author, Roger Bootle; Angela Knight, CBE, the Chief Executive of the British Bankers Association Paul Mortimer-Lee, Global Head of Market Economies at BNP Paribas; Maya Bhandari, economist at Lombard Street Research;

The keynote address will be provided by Colin Powell, OBE, Chairman of the Offshore Group of Banking Supervisors and adviser on international affairs for the States of Jersey’s Chief Minister’s Department. Jonathan Hooley, Chairman of the CISX, will chair the Summit. The one day event will be augmented by other specialist speakers including Michael B Jackson, internationally renowned business strategist and consultant on corporate marketing.
