The BOX Options Exchange (BOX) announced that Patty Kevin-Schuler has joined as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
“Patty is a strong addition to our team with over 25 years of industry experience,” said Tony McCormick, BOX CEO. “She has a keen understanding of customer needs, garnered from the trading floor, tech services vending as well as Exchange business development. Her expertise will greatly enhance BOX’s ability to serve its customers.”
Kevin-Schuler most recently held the role of director of business development for the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and CBOE Stock Exchange (CBSX). While there, she was responsible for sales, marketing and development of the HyTS trading platform. Patty also helped CBSX leadership implement strategic planning and marketing initiatives.
Kevin-Schuler has been actively involved in the Security Traders Association of Chicago (STAC) for many years and currently serves as the President of STAC for 2011-2012.
Kevin-Schuler started her career in 1986 on the floor of the CBOE where she spent nine years, starting as a runner and moving to crowd clerk to institutional and retail phone clerk. Kevin-Schuler has experience working for independent market makers where she learned how to trade options and manage risk, followed by her time as a floor manager where she oversaw the options trading floor operations and helped develop options trading platforms.
“Throughout my career in options, I have admired BOX’s commitment to finding the best value for the customer,” said Kevin-Schuler. “It’s an exciting opportunity for me to join BOX’s innovative team and add my expertise to continuing to build on its success.”
Kevin-Schuler reports to Alan Grigoletto, senior vice president of business development and marketing, who has led BOX’s business development and marketing team since the exchange’s inception.
