RENA GmbH is to issue a corporate bond in Boerse Stuttgart's Bondm segment. Investors will have the opportunity of subscribing to the bond issue of this medium-sized mechanical engineering company from 2 December 2010. The bond issue has a total volume of up to EUR 75 million, matures in 2015 and has a coupon of 7 percent. RENA GmbH is the eighth company to be listed in the Bondm segment for small and mid-sized enterprises (SMEs). The bonds are denominated in units of EUR 1,000. Private investors can purchase it directly through their house bank by placing a buy order with Boerse Stuttgart or acquire it from the issuer.
Since the launch of the Bondm segment in May of this year Boerse Stuttgart has admitted corporate bonds with a total volume of more than EUR 700 million to its SME segment. The financial management of SMEs was also a focal point of Boerse Stuttgart's first Entrepreneurs' Day. "The representatives from the various enterprises continue to show an enormous interest in Bondm. It is very apparent that more and more SMEs are seeking alternative forms of funding," says Sabine Traub, Head of Bond Trading at Boerse Stuttgart.
The subscription period for the RENA bond issue runs from 2 to 14 December 2010, but may end sooner if the bond is oversubscribed. At the end of the subscription period the bond will be admitted to Boerse Stuttgart's Bondm segment and regular trading.
