B3 S.A. – Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão (B3) and China Investment Information Services Ltd (CIIS), a whole owned subsidiary of Shanghai Stock Exchange, today announced a partnership in which CIIS will act as the administer and official distributor of B3 market data in mainland China. A signing ceremony was held in Shanghai today to celebrate the new partnership.
Mr. Gilson Finkelsztain, CEO of B3, during his visit to Shanghai to sign the agreement, said: “We have maintained good relationship with Shanghai Stock Exchange for many years. We are glad to see a new partnership has been reached. As one of the top exchanges in the world, Asia definitely is within our long-term strategy. We believe the market data cooperation with CIIS will help us promote B3 brand in mainland China comprehensively.”
Mr. Bo QUE, Chairman of CIIS, Vice President of Shanghai Stock Exchange, said, ‘It is really pleased to meet with Mr. Gilson Finkelsztain (CEO of B3 S.A.) during the council meeting of The World Federation of Exchanges. More importantly, we achieved cooperation on market data services, which would enrich the structure of information products available for Chinese investors and provide them with more investment opportunities’.
Under the agreement, CIIS will be responsible for the license, marketing and technical distribution of B3 market data products in mainland China.
