BTG Pactual – Brazil’s leading investment bank with offices in Brazil, London, New York and Hong Kong – has announced another senior hire to join its European team in its asset management business. Andrea Michelli has been appointed Head of EMEA Distribution at BTG Pactual Asset Management. Prior to joining BTG Andrea was Head of Global Banks and Emerging markets at Stenham Asset Management in London, having been with the firm from 2004-2010. Prior to this she worked at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in London as Associate and then Vice President in Global Equity Sales, with a particular focus on European institutional clients. Graduated with a first class Bachelor of Economics degree from the Universidade de São Paulo and subsequently qualified as a Bachelor of Public Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, Brazil, Andrea completed her MBA at Bocconi University in Milan.
