Toronto Stock Exchange, TSX Venture Exchange And Montreal Exchange Closed For Family Day holiday
Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange will be closed for Family Day on Monday February 15, 2010. Montreal Exchange will also be closed for trading on February 15, but their offices will remain open. Natural Gas Exchange (NGX) will be open for trading from 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. (MST).

On February 5, 2010 trading in the Brent futures contract reached a value of USD65 million (RUB1,937,502,569) or 89,876 contracts, by the end of the main trading session. The number of trades with this contract now totals 3,067.

Summary of facts for January 2010: Total turnover €4.4 billion, decreased by 6% compared to December 2009 but increased by 78% compared to January 2009) Total ATHEX capitalization stood at €78.2 billion, decreased by 7% since December 2009 and increased by 16.8% since January 2009. The participation of foreign investors in the total market capitalization of the Greek market remained virtually unchanged at 48.9% (compared to 48.5% in the previous month).

NYSE Euronext Names Robert G. Scott To Its Board of Directors
NYSE Euronext (NYX) today announced that Robert G. Scott, former President and Chief Operating Officer of Morgan Stanley, has been appointed as an independent member of the Company’s Board of Directors, effective February 4, 2010, subject to regulatory approval. Mr. Scott has also been appointed to the Audit Committee.

London Stock Exchange: January Average Daily Value Traded Up 14 Per Cent - Trading Growth In Italian Equities, Fixed Income And ETFs And ETCs
The average daily value traded across London Stock Exchange Group’s equity markets during January increased 14 per cent year on year to £7.1 billion (€8.0 billion). The average daily number of trades was 831,892, six per cent lower than January 2009.
