Thai Bourse To Improve NVDR Trading To Facilitate Foreign Investors
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) is exploring various alternatives to improve trading of non-voting depository receipts (NVDRs) to facilitate foreign investors and securities companies. The SET will hold more discussions with other market participants, including the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission.

CME Group Volume Averaged 14.7 Million Contracts Per Day In February 2011, Up 17 Percent - Record Energy Average Daily Volume Of 2.2 Million Contracts, Up 26 Percent - Record Light Sweet Crude Oil (WTI) Average Daily Volume Of 935,000 Contracts, Up 39 Percent - Record Agricultural Commodities Average Daily Volume Of 1.3 Million Contracts, Up 44 Percent
CME Group, the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, today announced February volume averaged 14.7 million contracts per day, up 17 percent from February 2010, and up 19 percent from January 2011. Total volume for February was 279 million contracts, of which 83 percent was traded electronically.

Thai Bourse Has Overseas Roadshows To Boost Liquidity & Tap Funds
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) will boost liquidity in the Thai market and tap new sources of funds through more road shows for foreign investors. The first such trip will be to Japan, in collaboration with Daiwa Securities and four large-cap listed firms during March 7-11.

HKFE Announces Revised Margins for HSBC Futures
Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Friday, 4 March 2011, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contract will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company’s normal procedures and standard margining methodology.

TOKYO AIM Announces Draft Rules For The TOKYO PRO-BOND Market
TOKYO AIM, Inc. (“TOKYO AIM”) today published the draft rules and regulations for its new bond market for professional investors, the TOKYO PRO-BOND Market. The rules and regulations as well as a Q&A document were developed based on the comments made during the initial public consultation period on the outline framework published on November 10, 2010.

Singapore Exchange (SGX) today said trading on its derivatives and securities markets increased in February from a year earlier.
