The average daily turnover for the first two months of 2011 was $73,990 million, an increase of 9 per cent when compared with $67,702 million for the same period last year.

The average daily turnover of derivative warrants for the first two months of 2011 was $13,607 million, an increase of 36 per cent when compared with $10,033 million for the same period last year.

Tokyo Stock Exchange: SPDR® S&P500® ETF Trust To Be Listed (Managed By State Street Bank And Trust Company)
Today, Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) approved the listing of "SPDR® S&P500® ETF Trust", managed by State Street Bank and Trust Company. The new ETF will be listed on Thursday, March 24, 2011.

NYSE Euronext Announces Trading Volumes For February 2011 - Global Derivatives Averaged 8.9 Million Contracts Per Day In February, Up 8% vs. Prior Year - U.S Equity Options Volumes Up 33%; European Derivatives (Ex. Bclear) Up 1% - European Cash Trading Volumes Up 23%, U.S. Cash Down 14%
NYSE Euronext (NYX) today announced trading volumes for its global derivatives and cash equities exchanges for February 2011. Global derivatives average daily volume ("ADV") of 8.9 million contracts traded per day in February 2011 increased 7.8% versus the prior year. The increase in global derivatives ADV versus prior year levels was driven primarily by a 33.4% increase in U.S. equity options ADV, partially offset by a 9.8% decrease in European derivatives ADV. Cash equities ADV in February 2011 was mixed, with European cash ADV increasing 22.9% and U.S. cash trading volumes decreasing 13.7% from February 2010 levels.

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Canadian Indices
Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes:
- The shareholders of Ventana Gold Corp. (TSX:VEN) have accepted the $C13.06 cash per share takeover offer from AUX Canada Acquisition Inc. Ventana will be removed from the S&P/TSX Composite and Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX Equity, Capped Equity, Equity SmallCap and Equity Completion, the S&P/TSX Completion, the S&P/TSX SmallCap, the S&P/TSX Global Mining, the S&P/TSX Global Gold and the S&P/TSX Capped Materials indices after close on Thursday, March 10, 2011.

CBOE Wins ISE Patent Infringement Lawsuit
The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois found that CBOE does not infringe a patent entitled "Automated Exchange for Trading Derivative Securities," held by International Securities Exchange, LLC (ISE). In its ruling the Court held that CBOE's proprietary Hybrid® and CBOEdirect® systems do not infringe ISE's patent. As a result of the ruling, ISE's patent infringement suit against CBOE has been terminated.
